Osteopathic Treatment to Improve
Auditory Perception and Language Development
Recent pilot studies have shown some promising results for children with auditory processing and language difficulties who are treated osteopathically.
Osteopathic philosophy was used to determine the treatment of each child, making each treatment unique. The main goals of treatment were to decrease any strain on the child’s musculo-skeletal system and therefore on their nervous system to allow the best possible brain function.
