About Us
The Brisbane Osteopathic Centre was established in October 2004. After working for 9 years at locations around Brisbane, Scott Baxter and Shayne Day set up the centre to provide osteopathic care for patients of all ages and conditions at a location that is easy to access from all areas of Brisbane. In 2008, one of our long-standing practitioners, Trent Sigley became the third partner, also working full time in the business.
Currently there is one other long-standing associate practitioner, Rebecca Reed-Baxter, and a newer associate practitioner Faye Kendall. With the five practitioners working together we are able to offer some late weeknight and Saturday morning appointments.
Based out of a 1920’s corner shop, the renovations have provided a large waiting room and five treatment rooms all with air conditioning for the natural therapy clinic. Set in a quiet suburban street, a short walk from Wilston train station, and bus stops on Newmarket road, the centre is centrally located with plenty of on-street parking. No steps and a wide front door create easy access for prams, wheelchairs and patients with walking aids.
