Blocked tear duct

Babies can sometimes have a blocked tear duct that doesn't open up. Usually, most cases will resolve spontaneously. Surgery is only required if there is no improvement past 6-12 months. Osteopathy has been found to be a complementary approach in the management of a blocked tear duct. By working on the face, head and neck, there is a better chance for drainage and less strain in the face.
